A message to our clients regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) :
Lowcountry Insurance is open for business and ready to serve you, however, the safety and well-being of our employees and customers is always our priority. As the impacts of COVID-19 intensify in accordance with guidance issued by public health officials, Lowcountry Insurance has made the decision, effective March 23rd, to temporarily close our office to walk-in traffic in order to practice social distancing.
During this time of COVID-19 precautions, staff members will remain available remotely to assist clients during regular business hours. This measure will aid in the continued good health of our clients, team members, and our local community. If you believe you need in-person servicing please call 843-522-2020 to schedule an appointment. Appointments will be given on a case-by-case basis. We politely ask that your service requests and payments be handled by phone or email.
If you need to make a payment in-person, please drop any payments in the outside payment dropbox to reduce person-to-person contact in the payment process. The locked dropbox is located on the wall to the right side of our front door-check or money orders only, please do not leave cash in the box.
We will be monitoring the situation through official sources and will amend our response as needed. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are doing our part to try to stop the spread of the virus.
As always, Please remember coverage cannot be bound, amended or cancelled via the voice mail system. You cannot bind, alter or cancel coverage without speaking to an authorized representative of Lowcountry Insurance. Any additional updates will be posted on our website. As we all navigate this unknown, we thank you in advance for your flexibility and consideration for the health of the people in our communities.
Once things improve and suggested restrictions are lifted , we will resume our normal business practice. Until then, stay safe, take care of your family, limit your social interactions, and do your best to flatten the curve and protect our community.
